The Super Recyclers and Entraide Diabétique

As of September 2021, The Super Recyclers has joined forces with Entraide Diabétique du Québec in the Quebec City area.

We are back in Quebec City, Sainte-Foy, Lévis and surrounding areas. Schools will once again be able to participate in the Super Recyclers’ fundraising clothing drives. Depending on the weight collected, schools will receive funds to finance activities.

Examples of projects funded in 2020-21 at our participating schools by the Super Recyclers fundraisers include:

  • Schoolyard landscaping
  • Purchase of books
  • Compost project, purchase of shrubs, garden
  • Purchase of bike racks
  • Friendship bench in the schoolyard
  • Environmental projects, including the purchase of ecological lunch boxes, faucets or a dishwasher to encourage zero waste
  • Homework help
  • Food aid for low-income families
  • School field trips
  • Graduation ceremony and graduation book
  • End of year activities
  • Etc.

We operate in the same manner as in Montreal. Our campaigns are easy, safe and can be done outside the school without any hassle.

The Entraide Diabétique truck and driver will be on site outside the school. We take the bags from the parents and place them directly into the truck. School staff doesn’t need to handle the bags, and the bags stay outside of the school.
