We are proud to launch our first creative contest for elementary schools. This contest presents a second fundraising opportunity for schools, after our Plastic Free Challenge.
The Super Recyclers are actively looking for their next promotional poster to be used for the 2024–2025 school year season.
We are launching a creative contest to find the best poster with an environmental message made by kids for kids. All elementary school students from schools participating to the Super Recyclers clothing drives are welcome to apply to this contest.
Registrations close April 10, 2024. The winner (the artist and the school) will be announced on Earth Day, on April 22, 2024.
The funds from this contest will be given to the winning school and must be used towards a project with an environmental component or a project that will help reduce waste.
Criteria for the poster:
- Medium: The poster can take multiple forms: a drawing, a scrapbook, an image, papier-mâché, a painting, etc. Whatever medium inspires the students the most will probably be best for them. However, it is important to note that the poster must be scanned or photographed to be submitted to the contest by email..
- Size: The poster must be 11 inches by 17 inches in dimension.
- Theme: The winning poster will be hung on the walls of schools participating to the Super Recyclers during the 2024–2025 school year. So, we wish that the poster mention themes such as clothing recycling and acting for the planet.
- Creator : The poster must be created by elementary school students. It can be done as a group project of done individually.
How to submit your art work:
For the poster to be taken into consideration for the contest, a picture or a scan of the poster must be sent by email to the Super Recycleurs by the latest on April 10, 2024. The application must include a signed registration form.
