Saint-Augustine Parish
Clothing Drive – Fundraising for Saint-Augustine Parish
One person’s clothing is another person’s treasure
Families and friends are invited to take advantage of Super Recyclers clothing drive to clean their houses and do a good deed.
On June 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm and June 4th 2023, from 8:30 am to 10 am you can drop your bags at the front entrance of the parish or in front of the garage door, located at 105 Rue de Cherbourg, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC J3V 2K8
The more parents, youth and the community get involved, the more it pays. Thanks to you, according to the weight amassed, this clothing drive will allow Super Recyclers to donate funds to our Parish.
Your donations of clothing, bedding and toys that are in a good condition will be reused and redistributed. Those of lesser quality will be recycled. The goal of this event is to raise awareness and reduce overconsumption within the community.
For an eco-friendly and plastic free clothing drive: We ask the community to avoid plastic bags. Why not use your old pillowcases, jeans or old sheets to make a bundle when you donate your clothes or use compostable paper yard waste bags? See the video on YouTube and avoid using plastic bags:
Accepted equipment: All the clothing for men, women and children, handbags, scarves, hats, gloves, furs, shoes, sheets, towels, curtains, leather accessories, as well as toys in good condition. We only accept what is in good condition (clean) and can be reused. Heavily soiled and dirty clothing as well as broken toys will be removed before weighing. The Super Recyclers are not able to accept pillows, carpets and skates.
