The Super Recyclers, a circular economy business

This is what 23 kg of clothing thrown away per Quebecer per year looks like, or 190,000 tons of textile in all. The vast majority of clothing ends up in landfills or is incinerated; overall, only 20% of clothing is collected for reuse or recycling.

In Quebec, as elsewhere in the world, the circular economy is much more than recycling. With what The Super Recyclers recovers during our drives, we focus on strategies that extend the life of products and give new life to resources. We work towards a collaborative economy and valorization of the material. What we recover in good condition will be put back on the market, the clothes of lesser quality will be used to make fiber and insulation.
